Good Good Friday
Awake21 2025 is getting ready for Good Good Friday a memorial celebration, of the great sacrifice the Lord, Jesus Christ made for us over 2,000 years ago. It’s a time of solemnity as the young people of Awake21 churches across Bloun County and denominational lines honor His sacrifice with a county wide CROSSWALK.
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt of epic proportions, with thousands of eggs, food trucks, and we are believing for 70 degrees and sunny!
The Awake21 Mass Choir will be singing familiar. numbers, along with RIOFIRE, leading us all into worship, and our special guest speaker will be former Overseer of the Church of God International, and current Overseer of the Tennessee Church of God, Bishop Tim Hill.
Holy Communion, across denominational lines will be observed, as we commemorate this special time of the year, in remembrance of Him.
There’s a move of God’s Spirit that is coming, and it’s time to celebrate the joy of The Lord!!! Invite your friends, family, and fellow believers to join us, this April 18th, beginning at 5pm.

A BLOUNT COUNTY CELEBRATION
Churches across Blount County are preparing for a celebration like no other.
A Blount County Celebration on Good Friday, “Good-Good Friday,” with an Easter egg hunt for the children, Crosswalk for teens, and Awake21 Mass Choir for the worshippers, a message from God’s Word, and Communion.
We invite you and your family to an afternoon of celebration, worship, and fellowship with believers from across the region, as Awake21 and the Faith & Family Coalition Initiative come together for an afternoon of God’s Spirit being poured out in epic proportions.
Easter Egg Hunt
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for younger children, with thousands of eggs prepared for the event. The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 5pm on APRIL 18th at the Good Good FRIDAY event.
Crosswalk
There will be a Crosswalk for the teens on March 29th beginning at the Hickory Valley Baptist Church and coming down HWY 321 to RIO REVOLUTION Contact Tim Gardner (865) 603-0295 or tgardner@riomissions.org for more information… we need HELP!
Awake21 Mass Choir (MC)
Awake21 MC is having rehearsals and you can join the “Whosoever-will” mass choir by filling out the registration form on the Mass Choir page on this website.
